Pike won the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for her performance.
Viola Davis starred in the film “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” which premiered December 2020. George C. Wolfe directed this American drama based on August Wilson’s play with the same title. Davis is nominated for an Oscar when she portrays Ma Rainey, a blues singer who has a lot of influence. This film is a great reminder as to why Davis is regarded as one of Hollywood’s finest actors.
Gal Gadot is making a stunning return to the silver screen with “Wonder Woman” 1984, which will be released in December 2020. Emma Stone’s latest film, “Cruella”, has been a big hit. It’s a crime-comedy-drama that premiered in May 2021, directed by Craig Gillespie. Stone plays Estrella de Vil in this film with a flawless performance.
