Dubai had been on my travel wish list for some time and finally I was going to see what all the fuss is about. The city is home to the world’s first seven-star hotel, the Burj Al Arab, and its tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, standing at 828 metres high. Impressively, you can watch the sunset at the bottom, jump in a lift and see it all over again when you reach the top.
