A SENIOR German politician has warned the European Union risks putting lives at risk by being too inflexible with Britain on post-Brexit cooperation, it emerged today. The comments will raise Theresa May’s hopes that individual EU countries will start as next March’s exit day approaches putting pressure on dogmatic Brussels to make a good deal with the UK instead of trying to punish us for leaving.
