THERE has been a surge in the number of savers taking out the tax-free Innovative Finance Isa which can offer up to 15 times the return on a cash Isa. Interest in the Innovative Finance Isa has risen fivefold in the last year, in the last year, according to new figures from HM Revenue & Customs, as savers are tempted by rates of between 5 and 15 per cent a year.
