THE parents of tragic Charlie Gard, who died after they lost a legal bid to fly him to the United States for experimental treatment, are to marry. Chris Gard, 32, said proposing to partner Connie Yates, 31, a carer, was keeping a promise he made to his baby son before he died in July 2017, one week before his first birthday.
