ALMOST half a million pounds is the size of ‘pension mountain’ savers in some areas of the UK need to build to enjoy a comfortable retirement, according to new figures. Londoners have to aim to save £452,000 – the largest pension pot in England followed by £275,000 in the South East £275,000 while workers in Wales need the smallest amount of £196,000.
