THE pound euro exchange rate is currently trading at around €1.138, slightly up from yesterday’s worst levels but still barely moved from the week’s opening rate. The pound is edging higher against the euro this morning, recouping a good portion of Thursday’s losses as markets welcome the UK’s latest public sector borrowing figures.
