SCOTTISH soldiers have been deployed to an area of northern Iraq to help train local fighters. More than 100 officers and men from the Black Watch and the Royal Highland Fusiliers, both elements of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, have set up a base in the city of Erbil for a six-month mission called Operation Shader.
