Tesco probe ‘refusal to find mum of kids in car’

TESCO chiefs have launched an internal inquiry into claims that a security guard refused to tannoy a shopper whose children were locked in an overheating car – in case it breached data protection laws. The store giant began the investigation after an off-duty paramedic complained that the guard ignored his pleas to use the PA system to call the two youngsters’ mother.
