TURKEY’S only oil refiner is poised to sideline United States sanctions by obtaining a wavier allowing it to keep purchasing Iranian oil, according to industry sources. The US is braced to reinstate sanctions on Iran’s oil industry next month after Washington withdrew from a nuclear deal between Tehran and other global powers earlier this year.
